The Lumen Prize
I’m honored to announce that I will be joining the International Selectors Committee of Lumen, a nonprofit and international prize founded in 2012, championing ground-breaking artists at the forefront of contemporary art and technology.
Open call for artists
If you are an artist working at the intersection of art and technology, you can now apply for the 2026 Lumen Prize in the following categories:
- Systems and Structures
- Legacy Futures
- Experiential Innovation
What I appreciate about these categories is what they represent: a recognition that artists are among those asking the most urgent questions about how technology shapes our futures, our systems, and our societies.
Artists have always been at the forefront of cultural and technological change, pushing boundaries and imagining alternative possibilities. The Lumen Prize remains one of the few international platforms dedicated to creating visibility for precisely this work.
